Just finished putting together some of my best footage from last year's lobster season. Check it out! :greetings-clappingorange:

First off, cool vid! How did you get the first lobster to come out like that? I've had a couple of instances where they get curious, but shy away as soon as they get too close. You must be baiting them!

@2:10 you got snaked! :bowrofl: . Lastly, judging by how much you love double fisting, you'll fit in here just fine. :D

Thanks! I had a lot of fun putting it together and figured I had to get it done before this year's season starts.

No bait haha. Normally they aren't that curious, but I just stayed very still outside his hole and he crawled all the way out! Surprised me as much as you  That clip was from the islands (the only one) so maybe the lobsters out there are more curious.

@2:10 Haha I know! That was my buddy and I was actually showing him the crack I had just found that was packed with lobster (normally I would take a few more dives before giving up the spot but it was his first time so I wanted him to get one). While I was waiting for him to dive down to me, I spotted that one out in the open, and apparently he did too!

Thanks! I did include footage of some grabs of bugs that I ended up having to release because they were undersized, purely because they were good clips where you could see the action. Of the ones in this video, ~90% were keepers and the rest were close (I could go through the footage and figure out which specific ones were undersized but that would take too much time haha). Having said that, there were a lot of keepers that I didn't include in the video because you couldn't see what was going on in the video (e.g. my face and camera are facing the surface while I'm up to my shoulder reaching in a cave/crack).

Dude, you are a beast. Dang. First off you've got some great spots... I never see it like that... and then you are ridiculous with the grabs! Like, do you ever miss? Holy moly. Nice!

Great video, and fantastic bug grabbing skillz! I want to be like you when I grow up :) (seriously, I suck at daytime bug grabbing)

Appreciate it man! A ton of exploration and luck went in to finding all these spots on my own, hopefully I can find them again this year

Definitely do miss a lot haha, but I get a lot better as the season goes on. I usually start out pretty rusty and get really frustrated.
