We regret to inform you that we lost a member of the OC Spearos Family this past Saturday in a dive related incident.

Ryan Huff was an amazing diver who loved his Family, spearfishing & the Club. He is survived by his Wife Diane and 2 boys Spencer (3) & Gavin (7)

We understand that everyone would like more information about the incident and we appreciate your patience. We will provide full details of the incident at the appropriate time. As Ryan would've wanted.

As for now, we ask that you keep the Huff family in your thoughts or prayers.

We will be setting up a fund to help with funeral expenses and provide you with details about his Celebration of life shortly.

Having two small kids in the same age range, this really breaks my heart. I'll keep the family in my prayers.

Keep us in the loop on any way we can help in addition to the fund.

Terrible tragedy and the second one that hit the tribe this year. Please let us know how you want us to spread the word about the funeral and fundraiser and we'll put it up on our IG for sure.

So sad to read this. Only met Ryan once at a O.C. Spearos meeting, such a nice guy. My prayers go out to his family and close friends.

Sincerely. Don

RIP
So sad for the family. Thinking about his children.
Just donated.

Any update on the circumstances? Is there anything we can learn from the tragedy to help keep the rest of the tribe safer in the water?

Thanks.

so guessing by the lack of any info on this that it's just not going to happen...
I'm still not sure why when divers pass its more often than not kept so hidden and quiet
