leaky mask

Postby stoneshotkilla » September 6th, 2015, 10:55 am

so iv'e gone through a fair share of dive masks and i cant find one that fits my face. they all leak a bit more then id like... so i decided to just buy the coolest low volume mask i could find. it leaked worse then anything else i had, but i liked the look. i put silicone where it was leaking near the nose and when it was half way cured i molded it to my face. went for a dive the next day and it was a whole new mask. do rough up the mask so the silicone it sticks well. :eusa-clap:

Nice. I was going to make an impression of my face and try to build a custom one. But this seems like a great fix.

What type of silicone did you use? I must have an oddly shaped face because I have leaking issues with every mask I've tried.

Brilliant! I'm going to try this if shaving my mustache doesn't work.

Jon, you could try silicone grease if you're still attached to your womb broom.
