Tacklewebs, Anywhere storage

Postby castronova » December 18th, 2015, 11:52 am

So, although my boat has a pretty big console, plenty of compartments, people are still... Lazy. When it's time to undress to suit up usually my "dash" in front of my electronics fills up and looks like a laundry basket. It blocks my view of the screen, hides everyones phones, and makes the stereo inaccessible. The electronics box above keeps my paperwork, electronics covers, jackets, and is for the most part full. Enter tacklewebs. They make a variety of sizes and applications. From bungee to velcro attachments you can put them just about anywhere. They will also make custom webs for different shapes.

These two are standard 24" x 15" and just so happened to fit perfect overhead. Even full with 4" or so of sag they are still about 6" above my head and I am 5' 10", standing on a 1.5" thick mat and had shoes on. They will make throwing shorts, shirts, hats, and glasses out of the way simple and easy. And clear up my control center.

But then how will you get your clothes wet when you go to change spots? B)

Those were $35 each. They seem to be very well made and come with 6 x 8" bungees ready to install. I thought it was a good price.

Those look like a great idea. When I go on a friend's CC boat I never now what to do with my stuff.

Of course I don't know how to stay warm either, but that's a separate problem.

that's a great call, thanks for posting that up. Most of us have the same issue and we are rolling in much smaller boats with smaller consoles.

I feel ya with the dash filling up with seemingly everyone's crap, it's seriously one reason I prefer going solo... those look to be a real good solution and we'll made. Thanks.
