Alexander cable keeper

I had a PM asking about ways to keep the slip tip from falling off and I can't figure out how to attach photos to a PM. So this shows one attached to a wood gun and one attached to a Wong muzzle.

They work great for cable, but not for Spectra.

Thanks Bill, that looks great. I think it would save a little time and hassle loading those bigger guns. I'm going to order one today.

I believe they shoot straighter than cable tucked into bands, it’s a hell of a lot easier too. Is the professor still hawking his own stuff? I wish it had two screws so you wouldn’t need to counter sink it.

That’s a good point about the need to countersink. I’ve been using spectra for so long that I forgot. On the plastic muzzle of a Wong I think I had some luck bedding it in hot glue. Maybe super glue would work.
