New to board from CenCal

Postby PTandspear » September 6th, 2017, 5:15 pm

Hey all,

I have been reading some posts, and like the feel of this forum so I thought I would join!

I live near Santa Cruz and dive mostly Carmel/Big Sur with a few trips in up north. I have been diving here for about three years, and originally from Montana where I grew up hunting/fishing. 32 years old, and I am a local PT in the area as you can see from the name lol. So far I have shot the usual suspects, lings, cabs, verms, other rockfish...I want to expand to halibut eventually as I know they are out there somewhere...

Looking forward to meeting other divers in the area and enjoying the water! Let me know if you want to dive locally as I usually head out when the swell is down.

Cheers,
Chance

Welcome to the forum. We need new blood since the old guys post less and less.

What is a PT?

Thanks for the welcome! PT stands for physical therapist..if you didn't know count yourself lucky that you have avoided us this far lol!

I have heard of the halis here in 831-now what street and coordinates?? Ha locals info I know!

Looking forward to learning from seasoned divers on here, thanks again for the welcome and hope to see you out on the water.

Duh! Sorry for the brain fart. I'm afraid I've spent way too many hours with PTS, especially after my two rotator cuff surgeries. And they helped my back when a chiro couldn't. You
folks have been way too big a part of
my life. :)
