Hey my name is Charlie. I’m a San Diego native living mostly in San Luis Obispo right now for school. I’m new to Spearfishing but not to the ocean. I’ve been surfing and swimming for the past 5-ish years and decided now is the time to pick up a speargun. My roommate (he’s an experienced spearo) told me this forum is a good place to meet some cool people and hear some great stories. If anyone wants a dive buddy who’s looking to learn definitely PM me.

Thanks for the tip. I’ve seen a couple videos of underwater hockey and it looks like a ton of fun. I’ll definitely give it a shot once the Covid-19 situation cools off a bit.
