There are a ton of them. What you have to do is weed out the ones that are not as consistent.

For a start, this is a link to an offshore model I've used that I've found to be extremely reliable. You can click on the map and pinpoint the area you're planning on hitting. The drawback is it's only a two day forcast unless you're willing to pay for the premium service.

For surfheights and wind I've found surfline.com forcasts to be realistic and reliable inshore. Free for a 3 day forcast unless you want to pay.

For Chloro charts (clarity of water) and temps I've found Terrafin.com to be invaluable but again, you have to pay or have a buddy that has access. Some of these guys use some free temp/chloro charts that I'm not certain about. Maybe they will chime in.

I've spent some time developing a variety of sources for SoCal... live webcams, wind, water, swell and more.

Buoyweather.com looks great!

I've found this site to be much more reliable than noaa and have come to really rely on it. I pulled the plug on two trips last year at the last minute when the forcast changed for the worst. My buddies went and got their asses handed to them. I've been testing that one out for a few years and it rules.

The SailFlow app is very nice and I've found it to be accurate in predicting winds

www.17ft.com is the best all-in-one website around.
