Does anyone else sow up the holes on their old gloves?

I had a couple holes unravel on my fingertips of my old gloves. So I spent a few minutes sowing them shut and so far so good. I took them on three dives so far and it keeps the cold water out just like new.

gotta love the ol Speedy Stitcher! Havent fixed gloves with it - just use Hyflex-type gloves here - but have made and repaired all sorts of spearing kit with webbing and tube rubber, made gun bags, even sewn snug-fitting rubber knife and shears holders into rubber dive belt.
Threaded with 100# fishing spectra stripped from reels, absolutely bulletproof!
